We invite you to The Holy City’s 94th annual Easter Pageant and our production of, “The Prince of Peace” to be held on the Saturday nights of April 13th and April 20th 2019. The running time is approximately 3 hours, and begins around 8:30 p.m. We are an outdoor production so seating is on the Audience Hill across from the parking lot of The Holy City so please bring your own comforts like lawn chairs, coats, blankets, and umbrellas, and since this is a night production a flashlight is advised. You are allowed to take pictures, but no flashes please.
Public and handicap parking will be provided with help from our wonderful friends Ambucs and the Boy Scouts. Please call (580)429-3361 to help us make handicap arrangements.
Come early, have a picnic, and enjoy a visit to our gift shop. The food vendors and the music start at noon. You can take pictures and walk around by guided tours beginning at 2:00p.m. Please come spend the afternoon and evening with us.

Festivities provided are free, and Donations are welcome and are tax deductible (receipt upon request). Guided tours are on a donation base that helps cover the costs of the production.
The Holy City is located in the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge North of Lawton. If you come on I-44, take the Medicine Park exit and go west into the refuge. Follow the signs to The Holy City.
We would like to invite you to be a part of this product as cast member, production team member, or script reader. The sign-ups will be held on Sunday February 24th with a short practice. Regular practices will be Sunday afternoons starting March 3rd from 2-5 p.m. Special rehearsals will be announced. There is no required out of pocket expense for any member. You can sign up to help in multiple areas.
o The Disciples – a team of twelve men that are the followers of Jesus
o Angels – the team that give the transition from earthly to heavenly effects
o Roman Soldiers – a group of people that maintain order and follow the king’s command
o Special Characters – any character specifically named and the seen
o Crowd – the groups of people that help keep the seen moving and keep the story alive
o Children – 5 to 12 year olds that help keep the story real

o Stage hands
• Script Readers – a group of vocal specialist that stay in the control room that narrate and give the characters a voice
Please remember, you CAN help in multiple areas.
We are having work days every Saturday in the coming months. Anyone willing to help, come on out and check in with Deena at the gift shop for projects that need to be done.
